January is here! A month of freezing cold and new beginnings, of reflecting on the old and speculating on the new. Being an optimist, for me is it an exciting time to think of all the wonderful things to come. As of today, 2016 is a fresh new year with no mistakes in it. (And let’s try to keep it that way!)
I am very excited to announce the release of my new book, Flowers for the Ancients, in both eBook and paperback. As many of you know, it is a collection of erotic stories set in the ancient world. By this I mean, ancient Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The cradles of ancient civilization. There are seven stories in all, six of them already published independently: The Girl with the Golden Eye, Buktu’s Well, Queen of Beauty, A Bride for Seven Brothers, Sheba’s Lovely Maidens, and How The Lotus Blossoms. (And the seventh, naturally, is a treat for those who buy the whole collection.)
This will be a busy month for these Ancients reawakened. I have listed a Goodreads giveaway, which will be live until February 7th. From now until then, each week I’ll be offering one of the six previously published titles for free on Smashwords and All Romance eBooks. To accompany each freebie, I’ll be doing a special blog post focused on the historical background for each erotic story, sharing more of my inspiration and the research that went into the work. It will be sexy historical fun, plus free stories, so be sure to check it out!
Don’t forget to enter the giveaway! (Hey, you could get lucky, and win a free signed print copy!) And because Goodreads hasn’t yet managed to link the cover to the giveaway page, here it is, a little teaser for you: my original cover art design.
(Isn’t she lovely? Stay tuned for six more weeks of history, freebies, and erotic musings…)
